You don’t need a cape or a mask to be a super hero! By learning how to tune in and focus on your breath, kids can discover their innate super ability to self-regulate because being in Control of your emotions truly is a Super Power!
In This Child Friendly Fun Pranayama Class, Students Will:
-Practice 5 breathing exercises to help calm and center to help self regulate their emotions
-Practice 3 breathing exercises to help energize and reset when feeling low energy
-Learn adaptive coping tools to help manage anxiety and stress
-Notice the difference between shallow breathing and deep diaphragm breathing
-Understand how deep breathing helps elicit the Parasympathetic Nervous System (Sympathetic Nervous System Stress Response vs Parasympathetic Relaxation Response)
-Be introduced to a child friendly Meditation Practice (Relaxation Response)
-Make a take-home Meditation Jar
-Take Home a set of 8 Breathing Cards practiced in the workshop
